There are five interactive settings of play to stimulate your children and when mums and dads get fed up with all the noises, talking and singing from Stinky you'll be pleased that he can actually be switched off! By simply pushing him or shoving him he jumps into action and all his random movements and sound effects begin. One of his first movements you see when he comes to life is his head-like cab blinking and flashing his lights.
Sound sensors can be activated by the smoke stack and kids will love all the crazy sayings and songs he sings. There are also other sensors that can be triggered on the rear door and on the bottom. Stinky The Garbage Truck has got some really high spec circuitry built in to him that makes all his movements and dancing appear to be totally random. So you are never quite sure what he's going to do or say next!
The fun with Stinky really begins when he decides that he's hungry! And he will let you know in his own crazy way. The front grill part of the truck is basically his mouth and you can put all kinds of stuff inside including small cars. These will stay in there ready to be "dumped" out later. Stinky The Garbage Truck also functions as a normal trash truck and you can throw things into his top compartment. These will also lay there until he decides to dump them out of the back of his rear doors.
To make him dump the trash you just pull on his smoke stack and he dumps whatever you loaded him up with out of his trash holder. As he does this he makes some very funny noises that the kids will just love and then finishes off with an "excuse me!" My little boy absolutely loved this and enjoyed repeating this over and over again to uncontrollable fits of laughter. I think even my wife secretly found it very funny too!
Tugging the smoke stack triggers various other sounds and movements such as singing and dancing. It's so funny when he suddenly rears up on his back wheels and begins to perform some crazy songs. If you leave Stinky the Garbage truck on his own for a period of time he will eventually switch himself off and go to sleep. As soon as you are ready to have some more fun and games with him you just need to give his smoke stack a push and he wakes up ready to play again.
A Free Big Rig Buddies DVD is included with every Stinky the Garbage Truck which is a cool movie with all his other big rig friends. Another little bonus is that you also get four batteries to get you started playing with him. But these are really only for purposes of demonstrating him and you should put some new ones in as soon as you can. But at least you won't be stuck with a toy that can't be used on Christmas morning because we forgot to buy batteries. And we've all been there!
