Choosing Promotional Stress Toys That Compliment Your Business

If you've decided to add stress toys to your range of promotional products, you have several important choices to make, which will most likely depend on what goods or services your company provides. There is quite an extensive variety of stress toys available, so it's relatively easy to choose items that reflect the business you're in.

While one of your important considerations will be the price of the items, with most items ranging from ₤0.50 to ₤1.00 each, there is not a huge amount of different in price with the majority of stress toys. In addition, most are made from fairly similar materials and manufactured in similar ways, so there are no big decisions to be made when it comes to the materials used in making the items.

Your most important decision in choosing your stress toys will most likely be the shapes of the printed stressy toys you choose--and there is a great deal of variety in this area, with toys that are appropriate for companies in a wide range of industry and business sectors.

Pharmaceutical, Medical and Healthcare Stress Toys

For companies in the medical or pharmaceutical industry, there are several different stress toy themes available. There are toys in the shapes of organs, such as the heart, brain and kidney, as well as toys shaped like teeth, hands and noses, and capsule and tablet-shaped toys, too. There are even some slightly more unusual toy shapes, such as vertebrae and others.

Financial and Housing Stress Toys

For companies involved in housing and real estate, there are several varieties of house-shaped toys, including Alpine homes, thatched huts, and even igloos! There are money bags, pound signs, gold bars and gold nuggets for the financial sector, too.

Transport and Travel Stress Toys

There is a wide range of stress toys shaped like vehicles, suitable for any company in the transport or travel industries. Choose from aeroplanes, ships, ocean liners, trains and trucks, as well as sports cars, motorbikes, and racing cars.

Construction and Industry Stress Toys

Hard hats, bricks, fire extinguishers, screwdrivers and bricks are just some of the shapes that might be suitable for companies in construction and other industries. There's even a giant brick-shaped toy that can be gripped with both hands, or even thrown--completely damage-free!

Seasonal Stress Toys and More

If you'd like your stress toys to be a little more general, and less focused on the goods or services your company provides, you have plenty of options. Choose from simple ball-shaped toys, dice, cubes, stars or paint drops, globes, animals such as cows, cats, elephants, toucans, and dolphins, stress toys in the shape of mobile phones, or toys that double as mobile phone holders.

If you're planning on giving seasonal gifts to commemorate holidays throughout the year, stress toys can meet your needs there too. Choose from Christmas-themed toys such as Santa Claus, a Christmas pudding or a snowman, St. Patrick's Day shamrocks, Halloween pumpkins, or a simple gift box for any other festive occasion.

Tips For Choosing a Backyard Swing Set

You and your family have made the decision that it is the right time to purchase a swing set. The time for research should begin and it can become an overwhelming task. First, you need to research the manufacturers that are producing these playsets. You should do a Yahoo or a Google search and you will be amazed at what your search turns up! Not only will you find a list of the brands available on the market today you will also be able to visually see the different models and sizes because they all show photos. From lumber to metal, from small to large the selection is vast on the internet. With all these choices how do you make a decision on which one is right for your children. This article will help you focus on some of the important points to take into consideration.

Structural Strength

It's important that your swing set is built with quality lumber or steel so you will need to decide on the type of material you want to build with. For example, many will tell you that southern yellow pine is one of the strongest and I believe it is, but others will tell you that cedar or redwood is the best. Southern yellow pine is preserved with a non toxic chemical called ACQ and usually goes through an eight step process before it's ready to use. Which ever board you choose it is equally important to look at the integrity of each set. Many feel the metal playsets are the strongest. If you select steel look for the highest quality heavy gauge steel you can find and super 40 steel is great. Which ever way you go, make sure the swing set components and accessories are made and manufactured to meet or exceed current ASTM safety guidelines for swing sets and residential usage.

Installation - What will it cost?

When purchasing from a local store installation may not be part of the purchase price so you will need to find out. If you choose to install the swing set yourself the cost is your time and a long weekend. Having an adult helper to assist with the assembly is a must and you will need common house hold tools. If you do not want to build it yourself, research the price of hiring a contractor or playground installer. Ask family and friends for a referral, check your yellow page listings, or research handy man services in your area. When hiring a contractor references are a must so do your homework.

Delivery Methods

If you purchase from a local dealer you will need to ask the question, "How much do you charge for delivery"? Do not assume that the price quoted in the store includes delivery. Often, the charge is free if you are within a 50 mile radius of the store (check store policies) or the fee is calculated per mile. Another option is to pick up the unit yourself, just make sure you have someone to help you load the cartons as they weight hundreds of pounds. Make sure you have a large truck that can handle the weight and length of the cartons as most swing sets are palatalized and shrink wrapped for delivery.

Delivery by a freight company is the most common method of transporting a playset. It will arrive via a semi truck often referred to as an LTL carrier. This is one of the economical ways and deserves consideration. This method is considered a residential delivery to the curbside and not into the backyard. Being prepared will make it easier and you will need an adult helper to assist in unloading at the end of truck. Someone must be present for inspection of the cartons and to sign for delivery. The freight company will not move the playset from the curb to the assembly destination (backyard) so having a flat bed dolly would be a good idea.
